Thomas Scharenborg was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri in 1972.

His family was involved in photographic businesses for two generations before him.

He was given his first camera, a Honeywell spotmatic, at age 11.

After completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Thomas has been teaching photography as well as working for private clients.

He currently resides in Rocheport, Missouri along the Katy Trail and Missouri River, where he enjoys capturing images of local scenery, portraits, and events.
